U8 Football
Excellent performance from our Athea U8 footballers last Saturday morning in Glin vs Shannon Gaels. Their football skills are improving with every game. Well done all and keep it going!
U13 Boys Football
Round 3 Athea 2:08 to Dromcollogher Broadford 2:02.
A great game of football was played between two competitive teams in Athea on Monday evening with Athea coming out on top at the final whistle which included a great penalty save from our goalkeeper Eoin Ahern, brilliant play from our centre back John Ahern and excellent scoring from our live wire full forward Shane Ahern.
U14 Boys Hurling
Our U14 Hurlers had a good win against Newcastle West on Thursday last in Athea, with the score recorded as Athea 1-11 to Newcastle West 0-05. A good start to the season for our U14s.

Tickets for the annual Athea GAA Club Development Draw are now on sale from all sellers, or also online via Club Force. There will be one draw per month from August to December, with a total prize fund to the value of €7450. Prizes per month include – 1st Prize €500, 2nd Prize €300, 3rd Prize €200, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th Prize €100, 8th Prize 1 Free Ticket for Club Draw 2025. Bonus Xmas Draw in December €100 X 2. Split the Bucket

Good 2 Go
The Athea Good 2 Go Programme continues on Fridays from 10.30am at Con Colbert Hall. Come along and join our leader led group physical activity sessions for Adults aged 55+ followed by cuppa & chat. For further information contact 087 6103840.
