AGM
Our Annual General Meeting will take place on Sunday January 14th at 7.30pm at Con Colbert Memorial Hall. All members are invited to attend.

Step to the Beat
Step to the Beat continues on Thursday evening from 7pm – 8pm. During this hour, music will play over our speaker system and those who attend will be free to walk/jog on our track with music playing in the background as a motivational factor and to beat the winter blues! Split the bucket entries can also be purchased during this hour. Looking forward to seeing you then.

Split the Bucket
Congratulations to Mary Ahern, who was this week’s Split the Bucket winner, going home with the grand total, and largest pot to date of €680. The next draw will take place on Monday December 4th. Envelopes can be purchased at Dick Whites, Collins Shop, O’ Riordan’s Pharmacy, Athea Credit Union, Brown Joes, Batts,  Bingo at Con Colbert Hall on Friday nights, Chinese Takeaway, Gables Grill and during events at Pairc na nGael. Club Draw
The final draw of 2023 will take place on Sunday December 3rd.
U17 County Minor Team

Congratulations to Athea players, James Hunt, Evan Curry and Calum Buckley who were presented with their Munster U17 football, Daryl Darcy medals at the Woodlands, Adare on Sunday evening last.

Ladies Junior Co Final
Our adult team are continuing with their preparations for the county final with a challenge match away to UL last week. The final is scheduled for Sunday December 10th at 1pm. Best of luck to the team and management
Girls Minor Round 4

Our minor game last Sunday was called off as the Ballingarry pitch was deemed unplayable. We hope for this to be refixed shortly.
Larkin Cup

Huge well done to Shauna Collins and her teammates in the semi finals last week where they defeated the East Limerick side. They will now play East Limerick schools in the final on tuesday 21st November at 6.30 in the TUS Gaelic grounds.

Team Trials

Well done to Grace Hunt,  Maeve Murphy and Geraldine Carmody who made it through to the next round of trials for the 2024 U16 County team
