Cards

Cards took place at Brown Joes bar on Monday evening last. The winners with thirteen games were Mike O’Connor, James O’Connor and Jeremiah O’Connor. In second place after a play off with eleven games were John Joe O’Connor, Tom O’Connor and Seanie Hanrahan. The raffle prize winners were Gerard O’Connor, John Scanlon and Jack O’Connor Jnr. The table prize winners were Stevie Leahy, Mary Ita Leahy and Kieran Griffin. The Weekly 41 progressive card drive continues on Monday night next March 6th at The Top of the Town at 9p.m. sharp. Intermediate Football Championship Draw 2017:

There are two groups of six teams who will contest the Championship.

Group 1: Glin, Claughaun, Mungret, St. Senans Bruff & Galbally.
Group 2: Athea, Cappamore, Pallasgreen, Mountcollins & Castlemahon.

Round 1: Athea v Castlemahon

Round 4: Athea v Mountcollins,
Round 5: Athea v Gerald Griffins.

Limerick GAA – Season Ticket 2017:
Limerick GAA recently launched their Season Ticket for 2017 with proceeds going towards the Limerick Senior Hurling training & development fund. The tickets cost €100 are now on sale. This would make an ideal present for the GAA fanatic in your household. Our U14 footballers play the first round of the Limerick Féile Peil na nÓg B competition this Sunday morning March 5 at the High field against neighbours St Kierans at 10.30am. All players are asked to be at the field for 10am and gum shields are compulsory. All support would be greatly appreciated.

FAI SOCCER CAMP 2017

Athea Utd are delighted to announce that we will again be running a SportsDirect.com FAI Soccer Camp this year. The camp will take place at The Vales from Monday, July 24th to Friday, July 28th and is open to boys and girls of all abilities from 6-14 years of age.
There will be more details available over the coming weeks.
