County:

Limerick hurlers put on a great display when they drew with Cork in the opening round of the National hurling league last Saturday in Páirc Uí Rinn. Even though they were five points down and had a man sent off after twenty six minutes they battled hard and got a well deserved draw with a late Shane Dowling free. The final score was Limerick 0-17, Cork 0-17. They now play Antrim in the Gaelic grounds this Sunday at 2pm.
