Ballyhahill NS at the weekend I could not help but notice the beautiful mural which the pupils are doing outside on the boundary wall. It’s not finished yet so they are depending on fine weather to finish it! Oh Oh. The mural will depict the Abha Bhán river, the bridge, native animals and birds and an excerpt of poetry by the poet Gerald Griffin. Well done to the teachers and pupils for using their creativity in this way. When they grow up and leave the school they will always be able to say they left their mark on it!

The November meeting of the B/L ICA will be held next Tuesday night at 8pm. The guild is always open to new members joining them.

A special Mass will be celebrated for those who have died from the parish in the last twelve months. This will take place in Loughill church on Saturday evening the 24^th of November at 8pm.

The parish Going Strong social will take place in the Resource Centre in Loughill on Tuesday November 13 starting with Mass at 1.30 pm followed by the usual monthly social. Relatives of any deceased members will be welcome to attend also.

Mass in Ballyhahill next Sunday morning at ten am will be offered in memory of Paddy Faley’s 1^st anniversary and his wife Nell Faley’s 50^th anniversary.
