The new volume of ‘Vanishing Ireland’ is due to be launched during October. This year will include some people from the Glin /Ballyhahill area…. Din Lane, Lisa Mulvihill, Mikey and Annie Kinnane, Paddy Faley, Maurice Fitzgerald. Many of the photos that will appear in this volume Vanishing Ireland – Recollections of our Changing Times are now on display in Limerick’s Hunt Museum. This exhibition showcases the best photographs from the acclaimed book series by photographer James Fennell and author Turtle Bunbury. The exhibition runs until October 23rd. If in Limerick try and get a chance to visit the museum and see them. The book will be on sale in many bookshops and is always a good Christmas sell. Of course it will be in the libraries too in the New Year.
