Drawing Together

Drawing Together is a new group and it is open to anyone who wishes to have fun and practice drawing in a group setting. It will take place every second Friday from 11am to 1pm (alternating with the Creative Writing Group). It caters for those who are trying their hand for the first time. All that is required is a 2B pencil and a drawing pad (any size with which you feel comfortable). The next session will be on March 18th at 11am in West Limerick Resources Abbeyfeale Office.

Men’s Health Activities –

we are planning to keep hens in the community garden. If you are interested in helping to keep the hens and taking home their eggs (hens and feed will be provided free, thanks to a grant from the Community Foundation for Ireland), then contact Ed at 068 32444 or 087 329 0483.

Tournafulla Parent & Toddler Group –

 starting Thursday April 7th. If you are interested in joining a new Parent & Toddler group which will operate in Tournafulla hall 1 morning per week, then please contact Dearbhla (Mon – Thurs) on 068 32444. Funding though West Limerick Resources has been secured to run the following FREE 6 week programme looking at areas such as 1) Running a Parent and Toddler Group, 2) Understanding Children’s Behaviour, 3) Importance of Play, 4) Imaginative Play, 5) Creative Play and Open ended Materials, 6) Block Play. This is open to Parents, Grandparents & Toddlers from the wider community, all are welcome.

Proposed new Local Training Initiative

(L.T.I) for Abbeyfeale. Expressions of Interest is now being sought for a proposed possible new LTI for Abbeyfeale. This FAS funded programme if successful in its application will deliver F.E.T.A.C Level 5 Radio Production over 35 weeks. If you are interested in participating on this proposed training programme then please complete an expression of interest form.
