New Laws for Learner Drivers

Time is near for all new learner drivers as from April next all learner drivers with a new permit will have to complete a course of 12 driving lessons set out by the R.S.A. and all driving lessons must be recorded on a new log book. If your course of driving lessons are not recorded you can never sit a driving test.

All of your driving lessons must be taken with an “ADI” driving instructor and your driving instructor must hold an up-to-date permit from April displayed on the dash of the car. If the driving instructor’s permit is out of date don’t do the driving lesson, because you will have to sit the driving lessons again. The log book can be got from the “ADI” driving instructor at a cost, and make sure that your driving instructor does not over- charge you for the log book, if there is an over charge contact the R.S.A. at once.

So happy motoring to all.

Both routes will begin and finish in Athea. All cyclists will travel through the  towns and villages of Abbeyfeale, Duagh and Listowel. This is the inaugural year of this event and everyone is welcome to come and support this new initiative and enjoy the challenge.
