PILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK: The Apostolate of Eucharistic Adoration National Pilgrimage to Knock Shrine took place last Sunday and a wonderful day was had by the 53 people who travelled on the Killarney bus. We have a committee in Abbeyfeale who organise Adoration in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel every Friday and now during Lent on Thursday too. Everyone is welcome to spend quiet time with Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel built by the late Canon Neville even if it’s only a few minutes in your busy day. Jesus loves us and is waiting for us to call in.

Check that you have a working smoke alarm and a carbon alarm. Once you reach the age of 65 and live alone or with a person/s aged over 65 you are entitled to receive a monitored alarm system. But if you have younger people living in the house who are out for long periods of the day then because you are spending hours alone you are also entitled to the system provided that you are over 65.
