I know the Irish and English have a long history together, some of it not so nice, but whatever one would say it has to be given to the English they know how to do pageantry very well. I watched the whole coronation Ceremony last Saturday morning and was so impressed by the whole thing. It was not unlike a wedding ceremony really, making the vows, lovely music and saying prayers asking for God’s guidance. But it was done to perfection. Queen Camilla looked very tense for the whole thing but I think King Charles enjoyed it all. I pity him with the problem of his two sons. But it is his problem not mine so I won’t lose sleep over it but I think all parents wish that their children will get along with each other.

Ballyhahill National School is having a collection of unwanted clothing on this week. May 11th is the final date so if you are spring cleaning you know what to do. Drop any bags off to the school or to somebody who will take them to the school. Please spread the word to anyone who can donate. All donations greatly appreciated.

There is a new coffee shop installed in Loughill playground – Abha Bhan Parish Park. A great idea for the adults to sit and chat while youngsters having fun.
