Step to the Beat
Healthy Athea GAA are delighted to announce the commencement of the weekly ‘Step to the Beat’ hour, beginning on Thursday February 23rd, just in time for the beginning of Lent! During this hour from 6.30pm – 7.30pm, music will play over a newly installed sound system. We are inviting suggestions for songs to add to the playlist for the hour, so please do forward us your song suggestions and we will forward them to the DJ! We will also have lines on sale priced at €2, or 3 for a €5 to win a hamper, with the winner chosen during Easter week. Proceeds will go towards the cost of the new sound and CCTV system and cost of cabling ( totalling €8.5k) and lighting the ever popular walking track. So send on your song suggestions, pull out the glitter runners and we look forward to seeing you all on Thursday eve.
