MANY YOUNG MEN OF TWENTY: A musical play  using humour to deal with the themes of emigration and lack of opportunities in the late 50’s, the corruption of politicians, the who you knew and not what you knew and the hypocrisy that abounded where young women were blamed and left carrying the baby and the father fecked off.  You couldn’t pick one over the other because all the actors were great but the night was carried by Jackie Harnett whose heartbroken longing for the lad that left her had us all rooting for her suitor/s.   All nights this week are booked out and no wonder – they have put on an extra night Tuesday, February 28 and 30 seats were booked  immediately so get on the phone asap.  Glorach Theatre, Abbeyfeale.   Doors open 7.15pm.   Tickets €10.  Raffle on the night.  Booking 087 1383940.
