AGM

Athea GAA Club AGM will take place on Sunday January 15th at the Club House at 7.30pm. All welcome.

Annual Table Quiz

The Coiste na nOg table Quiz  was a great success with a record 28 tables taking part at the Top of The Town on Dec 28th. John Hunt was the quiz master and there was an army of helpers for collecting answer sheets, correcting, keeping the score board and selling raffle tickets. Thanks to all those who gave spot prizes and all those who turned up on the night to make it such a successful fundraiser for the club.

Presentation

A presentation was made on the night to Betty and Johnny Cotter  of The Top of The Town by both the Ladies and Men’s GAA  clubs, in recognition of their support down through the years. We wish them all the best in their retirement.

County U14 Girls Team

Well done to Geraldine Carmody and Maeve Murphy who have made it on to this year’s Limerick U14 team after weeks of intensive trials and matches. We look forward to following their journey in the season ahead.

Operation Transformation

A huge crowd turned up at the GAA Club on Thursday last for the filming for Ireland Lights Up as part of Operation Transformation. The footage will feature in this week’s Operation Transformation Programme on Wednesday evening at 9.30pm. Well done to all who took part in the recording on the day.
