Congratulations to Athea native Séamus McNamara,  now a member of Fr. Caseys GAA club who has been elected as Chairman of the Limerick County GAA board.Bronze  Medal
Athea GAA Club was awarded a bronze  medal in Croke  Park  last Friday from Glór  na nGael for their efforts to promote the Irish language. Irish officer Ciara Hunt and her father John Hunt travelled  to accept  the award.
