The Shannon Gaels Áth an tsléibhe u 17 football team are awaiting the winners of St. Kieran’s and Galbally to see who we will meet in the div 2 county shield final. The final is fixed for Saturday Nov 5th in Mick neville park.

The local primary school boys football team defeated Glin N.S. last Friday in Athea to qualify for the West Limerick final v Cappagh N.S. on this Wednesday.
