DEATH: We offer our sympathy to the family of the late Batt Fitzgerald, Knocknasna. Sincere sympathies are also offered to the Healy family on the death of their mother Kathleen, Hill Road and to the O’Connor’s of Knocknagoshel on the death of Ciara. May they all rest in peace.
CHURCH WEB CAM: The Web Cam is out of order at the moment. We are waiting for a new piece of equipment to be delivered. Hopefully it will be live streaming very shortly.
EUCHARISTIC ADORATION: Currently Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place every Friday in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel from after the 10.00am Mass until 7.00pm. We are grateful to all those who give of their time to this devotion. The Parish Adoration Committee are now establishing a second day of Adoration in the parish beginning on All Souls Day Wednesday, November 2. If you are willing to give some of your time to this devotion we ask you to sign the schedule which is located on a table at the rear of the sanctuary area. Adoration can only take place if there are enough people (at least 4) in the Blessed Sacrament church during each hour of Adoration. Perhaps parishioners would consider taking on this commitment for the month of November the month of prayer for the Holy Souls.

This will be a real Oscar moment (as in Holywood!) for the people who took part in the various films with presentations to those deemed to be the best actor, best comedian etc. etc. so start thinking about making your hair and beauty appointments and not forgetting limo reservations because this is your night to shine. There will be a raffle on the night for a hotel voucher and some other prizes. It’s going to be a great night of glitz and glamour and something totally out of the ordinary so please rock up and support our efforts to look after the elderly in the community – after all, we’re all on the same path.
YOUTH CLUBS: A message from Noreen Cullinane to all parents of young people in Abbeyfeale. “We are hoping to get youth clubs back up and running in the coming weeks and months after the long break due to covid. We are calling on all parents/guardians of current first/second/third year students or previous youth club members who are now over the age of 18 who would be willing to give a helping hand weekly for an hour and a half at our youth clubs. We need the help of you, the parent/guardian so the youth clubs can go ahead and allow the youths to meet their friends in a safe, supervised facility. If anyone is willing to help out it would be greatly appreciated. Please contact me Noreen Cullinane on Messenger or privately on 087 2353306. “
