met in Knockdown recently.

Congratulations to Marcella and Tom O’Grady who became grandparents to Phoebe last week. Phoebe’s parents Ciara and Michael are, obviously, delighted with their beautiful girl. We wish them many happy years.

The whole county is rejoicing at Limerick’s win on Sunday last. It must have been so hard for both teams to keep going in the intense heat but they did not give up. It is a great boost to have the Three in a Row! Now we must get ready for Kerry next week and we will all be happy in the Prendeville household.

I attach a photo of the Leahy brothers and Ta Mullane taken last week when they visited the area. The Leahy’s, who used to live in Glenbawn up to the 1960’s,  went to school in Clounleharde.
