DEATH: We offer our sincere sympathy to Mary C and family on the death of Jeremiah McCarthy, Knockbrack.  May he rest in peace.  We also offer our sympathy to Martin and Mary(Harnett, Knockbrack)  O’Mahony,  Ballyvourney on the death of Martin’s mother Mary O’ Mahony.  May she rest in peace.

TURN THE GREENWAY YELLOW ON SATURDAY MARCH 26:  We all know someone who is or has been affected by cancer so a unique fundraiser plans to  turn the Greenway yellow from Rathkeale to Abbeyfeale and make lots of money along the way!

So dress in yellow, wear yellow ribbons, paint your face yellow, dress your dog in yellow, or even be a daffodil and let’s do this! The event starts 12 noon at the Rathkeale Greenway car park. You may walk as much or as little as you like. There will be a bucket for donations, music by Conor O’Shaughnessy  and snaps taken by Eamon Doody along the way!

WEST LIMERICK SINGING CLUB:  The club reopens in Philip’s, The Ramble Inn, on Friday, April 1 at 8pm.

NEW MABS OUTREACH CLINIC:  On Friday, March 4th and on every second of Friday of the month thereafter (excluding bank holidays) a MABS Outreach Clinic will be held in St. Ita’s Hall from 9am -12.30pm.  The contact number for appointments is 0818 072210 for the North Munster MABS Limerick Office. Those wishing to make an appointment must make the call themselves due to GDP.

MAINISTER NA FÉILE COFFEE MORNING: Abbeyfeale ICA will be hosting a Coffee Morning at Leen’s Hotel on Wednesday, March 23 from 10-12.30pm in aid of Ukraine. All proceeds will be donated to the Irish Red Cross. Your support will be most welcome. Ni neart go chur le céile.

CHOIR OF SIAMSA TÍRE: will sing at the 11.30 Mass on Sunday next, March 27 in Listowel.   They will sing “Aifreann na nDaoine” by Fr Pat Ahern, and pieces by Irish composers John Jones and Ronan McDonagh. The choir was founded by Fr Pat Ahern in St. John’s Church Tralee in 1957.

FUNDRAISING CONCERT IN KILLARNEY:  The Moriarity School of Music & Dance are hosting a concert in aid of Ukraine which will take place on Saturday, April 2  in the Killarney Avenue Hotel commencing at 8pm. Fear an Tí for the night will be none other than the legendary Seán Ó Sé.  Performers include Patrick O’Sullivan, his son Conor, Elle Marie

VINTAGE RUN: Knockdown Vintage Club Annual Charity Vintage Run on Sunday, March 27. This year the proceeds are in aid of the Irish Community Air Ambulance. Registration for Vintage will commence at 12 noon at the Knockdown Arms. The Vintage Runs begins at 1pm. Big Maggie & Billy will provide the entertainment.
