Healthy Athea –  Inclusive Fitness Day at Athea GAA Club at 2pm on September 26th 2021

On the week of the 23rd of September 2021, the GAA invites all clubs to open their doors to the wider community and support GAA National Inclusive Fitness Day. 2021 NIFD theme is “GAA Healthy Families’ . #GAAClann. The event falls during the European Week of Sport (23rd – 30th September) and aims to promote sport, physical and healthy lifestyle activity to everyone regardless of age, sexual orientation, ability, ethnicity, nationality, or fitness level.

Inclusion means people having a sense of belonging, of being comfortable in being part of something they value. Diversity means being aware of, accommodating, and celebrating differences.

Athea GAA have set up a Healthy Club Team who invite you to Páirc na NGael on Sunday September 26th 2021 at 2pm as part of the National Inclusive Fitness Day promoted by Croke Park.

We will be opening our newly surfaced Walking/ Jogging Track as part of the day.

We will also be sharing some Healthy Club Fitness Programme and initiatives and helping to promote fitness throughout the community as well as celebrating Limerick Hurlers recent All Ireland win. We are also hopeful to have some well known guests visit our club as part of the celebrations. Put the date in your diary.
