Athea Tidy Towns November Fundraiser
- Completion of the Athea Tidy Towns Heritage Trail
Leaflet + Kids Booklet
- Planting of 6 Native Whitebeam trees together with stone flower beds at Athea Creamery Yard
- Erection of Hanging Baskets and floral displays in the village and their maintenance
- Assistance with maintaining green areas during lockdown
- Developing Athea Riverwalk – erecting fence, laying path, planting trees & shrubs together with the construction of Hen Harrier Arch
- Installation of public water bottle refill station
- Sandblasting and painting of the footbridge and the painting of other derelict buildings on Colbert Street
3 Installation of speed reduction signs on the Listowel and Abbeyfeale Rds
- Securing further public lighting for the village
Throughout the month of November, a gofundme page will be live and will accept donations safely online from bank cards/credit cards etc by following the link which is available on the Athea Tidy Towns Facebook Page.
Donation boxes have also been placed in O’Riordan’s Pharmacy, Collin’s Shop and Griffin Butchers.
