‘Just remember when you think all is lost, The Future Remains’.  Well hopefully everyone is pulling through this difficult time, walking. exercising. praying, baking, helping others. phoning old friends and much more has become the norm. We must not look too far ahead wondering when it will all be over, just take every day as it comes, keep busy, and be glad to be alive. Sympathy is extended to Connie Noonan of Glenagragra on the death of his beloved wife Nora last week. She was laid to rest in Holy Cross on Saturday after a private Mass with Fr Tony Mullins, due to the virus. Fr Denis Mullane said the prayers at the graveside. It was uplifting to see friends and neighbours line the road to Athea from Knockdown on Friday evening all paying their respects. A Memorial Mass for Nora will be held on her birthday on July 11 th here in Athea.  Well it’s not much like Easter week however technology enables us to have Mass and ceremonies online, thankfully, and on tv.  I wish you all a happy Easter.   May God Bless you at Easter and keep you all year through——May God give you all the faith it takes to make your dreams come true. —- May His love and wisdom always help to guide you on your way— May His light shine down upon you now  to bless you Easter Day.
