The male members of the cast include Brendan Stack, Pat Noonan, Tony O’Shaughnessy, Terence McSweeney, Martin Halpin and James Chawke. There are two female casts. This group is indebted, as usual, to Ballyhahill Parish Hall committee for the use of the Hall for rehearsals.

Concerned dog-lovers in Glin tell me that they “are still looking for a forever home for the old placid boy Charlie. He would make a great addition to any home. He loves children and other dogs and cats. He is neutered and we think he could be anything over 12 years old. He likes short walks, and is happy to potter around and sleep the rest of the time. He sleeps outdoors in a sheltered shed in his cosy bed. He is not lead trained and has no sense of the road. He would need a secure area for when he is outdoors. He will make a very lovable loyal companion. Is there any dog lover out there who would be willing to give him a loving home. Would probably be better in a home without another male dog, Charlie is great with other dogs, but this may not be reciprocated! A home check will apply, as would be the norm.” Ring Marie 086 869 1821 if you think you could help.

The month’s mind Mass for Mikie Woulfe will be celebrated on this Friday night in Ballyhahill at 7 pm.
