Ballyhahill NS Parents Association has been busy collecting some gorgeous old photos of Loughill/Ballyhahill Parish and organising them into a beautiful 2020 Calender: ‘Loughill/Ballyhahill Then and Now’. They will go on sale this week and will be available in all the local shops, through the students or parents in Ballyhahill School or at the Ballyhahill Craft Fair this coming Sunday 24th. They would make a lovely Christmas present especially for those abroad so please support. As always it will be very much appreciated. The cost is €10 and all proceeds go towards Ballyhahill National School.

The annual Craft Fair is being held in the Parish Hall in Ballyhahill this coming Sunday from 1 pm to 5pm. If it goes by recent years there will be great displays of all Christmassy things as well as baking, cheese, knitwear and much more. The proceeds from the booking of tables go towards the day to day maintenance of the Hall, which is such a great asset to our parish. All support will be appreciated.

There is an information evening, for anybody interested, on the new ‘Programme of Formation for Lay Pastoral Ministry and Leadership’ which will be offered in the Diocese of Limerick next year.  The programme is a direct response to the action from the Synod in 2016 to train lay volunteer catechists/animators/coordinators to support faith development in our parishes and pastoral units.  The information evenings are as follows:

  • 7:30pm, Tuesday 26th November in Limerick Diocesan Centre, St Munchin’s.
  • 7:30pm, Wednesday 27th November in the Longcourt Hotel, Newcastlewest.
  • 7:30pm, Thursday 28th November in the Deebert Hotel, Kilmallock.

You will find more information on this programme on www.limerickdiocese.org.
