Sincere sympathy to Nancy and all of Raymond Brouder’s family on his death last weekend. I remember Raymie as a lovely chatty man and a good friend and workmate of my father. No doubt they are catching up on their friendship once again. Raymie was good at composing the odd poem too, a hobby they both shared. May he rest in peace.
Knockdown Vintage had a most successful and sunny day on Sunday last bringing huge crowds to the area once again. It is becoming to resemble Croke Park on an All Ireland Final day with crowds gathering from early morning and remaining till late evening. No doubt you will be reading a more detailed report from the committee but suffice it is to say it was a huge success thanks to the dedicated members who do trojan work in the lead up to it. Well done to them all.
