Congratulations to Sinéad Harrison Solicitor, Knockdown who, “having taken and subscribed the constitutional Oath of Office as prescribed by law, was duly licensed and admitted to practice as an Attorney and Counsellor at Law in all courts of the State of New York on the 17th day of January 2019”. Sinéad and her proud parents Marian and John travelled to New York to be awarded her certificate by the Supreme Court of the State of New York. Sinéad studied hard to attain her goal and we are all proud of her. Well done Sinéad.

Ballyhahill NS Parents Association is planning to organise the monthly clean up of the school grounds on Saturday 2nd of February at 9am. If anyone is  available to help out it would be  greatly appreciated as it always. There is a lot to be done in particular out the front and a lot of man power is needed on the day so if you have a spare hour or two it would be great. They will also be holding a pub quiz in The Knockdown Arms on the 15th March so put it in your diaries! All welcome!
