Commemoration:

A further supply of Commemoration DVD’s are now on sale at Paul Collins’ shop – the first batch selling out quickly. They are a lovely memento to keep for years to come and would make a lovely present for Christmas for friends and family both at home and abroad.

Winter Time:

Well, at this time of the year there isn’t much going on in the playing circles. However, that is not to say that all is quiet. Many of the players are making good use of the gym up at Páirc na nGael, therefore making sure they are keeping up their fitness levels even during the ‘off season’. Also with the fabulous new lighting up at the pitch and the walking/running track being well used – there is no excuse for our young people to get “fighting fit”.

Lip-Sync:

Well talks will be getting underway in the near future with regard to a further Lip-Sync – Lip-Along fundraiser for the club. This was a huge success two years ago and a night to remember with the Ladies and Men’s teams, the “Mothers and Others” and our young students all putting their heads and dance moves together another great night is envisaged. Julie Finucane (Barrett) will be at the helm – and no better organizer.

Coiste na nÓg:

Donkey Derby: (New Lights Fundraiser)

A Donkey Derby will take place at the top of the Town Bar on Saturday December 1 to help raise funds for the new lights installed on the pitch. More details to follow in the coming weeks.
