Intermediates
The West Intermediate semi-final V Gerald Griffins will be played on Saturday next, June 16th. No doubt this will be a very exciting hard-fought game so come along and support the boys and hopefully there will be a better result than on Wednesday evening last when they lost to Mountcollins in Div 2, their 4th game.
Sympathy
The Club expresses sympathy to the Hynes sisters, Ursula Ahern and Margaret O’Connor, on the recent death of their Dad, Michael Hynes, in Limerick.
Congrats
Congrats to the Athea/Mayo supporters on their win v Limerick at the weekend. I forgot to include Bernie Stackpoole last week as another Mayo supporter who ‘fell in love’ and moved to Athea!
The club also congratulates football team member Jamie Collins and his wife Siobhán on the birth of their first baby, a little boy they are calling Cillian
