Best of Luck

The Club wishes all its players who are doing the Leaving or Junior Cert exams this week all the very best of luck and they will be looking forward to having them all back on the playing field very soon

Pitch Improvement

The Club is presently investing in sanding the pitch and also doing draining, It’s great to see this investment being done as other clubs have  not done so and their pitches have gone into disrepair. It’s going to be well worth the effort and it will be one of the best kept pitches around.

Club Draw Tickets

It’s only weeks away now to the first of the eight  “500” club draws so, if you want to be in with a chance, get your ticket as soon as you can or you can ring me on 087 1233361 or any member.

Well, there will be ‘Mayo’ support from Paul Curry (chairman) this weekend as they take on Limerick on Saturday evening. Margaret Barrett, lower Athea, is another Mayo supporter.

Declan White has been saving money for the past year to provide the very best prizes so we look forward to a bumper crowd for the event. At the moment it looks like the weather will be very good on Saturday so, there is no excuse, dust off the clubs and take part in the fun. There will be a meeting on Monday night next at the Top of the Town to make arrangements and do the draw for the competition. Please answer the email from our Hon. Sec. Before Monday evening or give your name to any one of the committee. Looking forward to a great day’s golf.
