Intermediates:

The Intermediates lined out against Claughaun in Round 2 – Div 3 of the league on Wednesday evening last here in Athea. Unfortunately the opposition again proved too strong for our boys with the final result reading (1-11) to (0-8). However, there are still more games ahead with room to improve.

Junior B:

The Junior B team played Ballysteen on Sunday last in Ballysteen. The score at the whistle was (0-6) to (0-17) in favour of the opposition.

500 Draw:

Promoters will be out and about in the near future selling tickets for the annual 500 Club Draw. Don’t miss out being in with a chance to win one of the great prizes. For fully paid up members of the €80 or those who pay by direct debit there is €1,000 extra to be won. Ring me on 087-1233361 or alternatively tickets can be got from GAA members

Advertise:

I’m sure there are many companies or individuals who live abroad or at home who might like to take an advertising board in the Páirc na nGael car park. There is a yearly minimal fee and it’s a great help to the GAA debt as well as being the first thing you will see on approaching the GAA pitch. Enquiries to Paul Curry on 087-6501673
