Jerseys:
I’ve been asked to mention if anyone out their knows the whereabouts of the number 17 and 22 jerseys recently used. Could they please return them to Margaret O’Connor for washing or indeed to Paul Curry, Chairman, a.s.a.p.
500 Draw:
The next ‘500 club draw’ will be held at Gerard White’s on September 2nd. If you still want to buy a ticket for the remaining draws you can do so by contacting any of the committee or ring me on 087-1233361.
Executive Meeting:
Following an executive meeting last Wednesday, it has been proposed that another fundraising effort should be held in the New Year hopefully. So you are asked to get your thoughts together and see what ideas can come through. One of the ideas on the night was to have a top Country and Western act perform, so get brainstorming, especially those who were involved in the Lip-Sync last year – they may want to ‘come on board’ again. The next executive meeting will be on 5th September.
Pitch Development:
Things are going well with the pitch development and it is hoped in the very near future to have the track lights erected before the darker winter evenings.
