Athea GAA

Junior B:

Athea v Knockaderry on this Thursday evening, May 18th. The game will be played here in Athea starting at 7.15pm. This is Round 3 of the Junior B League. All support would be welcome.

Sympathy:

The club wishes to extend sincere sympathy to Derek Byrne of Gortnagross on the recent death of his mother Emily. ‘May she rest in peace’.

Club Draw:

You are reminded again of the 500 Club Draw which will be starting again very soon and at just €80 for the 8 chances to win some great prizes you would be mad not to buy a ticket. Again this year you have the option of paying €10 a month by direct debit from your bank account, which is ideal for the purchaser and seller of the ticket with the added bonus of maybe winning an extra prize for paying by direct debit.

Pitch:

Well the little showers of rain over the past few days have left the pitch even looking twice as good as before with a covering of green lush grass. Blocks have been put in place to see where best new dug-outs will be placed. Well done to all the Tús workers who are indeed doing great work up at the pitch every day.
