Hearty congratulations to Marian and Joe Harrison, Knockdown, on the birth of their first grandchild last week. Finn Peter Joseph was born to John and Laura in London UK; we wish them all the very best.
All roads lead to Askeaton on Sunday 11 September at 6;15 pm for the west junior football final against Newcastlewest. Gerald Griffins will be hoping to end a 21 year wait and bring home the west title for the first time since 1995. All support from the parish would help enormously in driving on the team to bring the title back to Loughill, Ballyhahill and Knockdown and the surrounding areas for the first time in over 2 decades .Best of luck to everybody involved in making this possible
