Athea United Soccer

There was more great news for Athea Utd last week when we picked up two more player awards, Daire O’Shea and Michael Tierney the latest players to be voted player of the year. Both picked up Limerick Desmond Schoolboys/Girls League players of the year awards, Daire was selected as U12 Division 3 player of the year and Michael selected as U14 Division 3 player of the year. Well done Daire and Michael from all at Athea Utd.

These two awards have capped off a remarkable season for the club as James Ryan (youths) and Kevin Murphy (juniors) received player of the year awards from the Limerick Desmond League as they assisted Athea Utd to an unprecedented double.
