Athea Junior B’s are away to St.Marys/Sean Finns on Thursday May 15 at 7.30pm. Players to be at the Bog Garden for 7p.m. All support would be greatly appreciated.
Sunday May 18:
Junior B Football Championship: Round 1:
Athea Junior B’s will play Ballysteen on Sunday May 18. Time and venue to be confirmed. All support would be greatly appreciated.
Intermediate Championship: Round 2:
Athea will play Mountcollins in the second round of the Championship between the dates of the Wednesday May 14 and Sunday May 18. Time, date and venue to be confirmed.
Intermediate Training:
Intermediate football training continues next Tuesday night May 13 at 7.30pm in Páirc Na nGael. All players must attend.
Club membership:
For those who have not yet become members of Athea GAA Club they can still do so. This is a great way of supporting the Club at only a cost of €20 for the year. The GAA has the largest membership of any sports organisation in Ireland. When one becomes a member of a GAA club, they become part of the GAA family and part of a great community based organisation that continues to enhance the lives of so many people both young and old.
Fun Run:
Athea GAA Club will be hosting a Fun Run & Adventure Run on Sunday June 15. More details to follow.
Limerick GAA Draw 2014:
Anyone wishing to join the Limerick Development Draw for this year can do so by contacting any of our ticket sellers or Áine on 087-6954029. There are ten monthly draws. The first draw took place on Saturday April 19; it was on live on Limerick Live 95 FM sports program. Draws will take place thereafter on the last Saturday of each month. As always your support would be greatly appreciated.

1st: €13,000, 2nd: €3,000, 3rd: €2,000, 4th: €1,000, 5th to 9th: €500 10th to 20th: €250

Mouth Guards:
It is mandatory for Insurance purposes for all players from U6’s up to senior level to wear mouth guards at training and matches. Mouth guards can be purchased from Collins’ shop.
Limerick Development Draw:

Athea Coiste na nÓg:
Registration:
The registration fee from U6 up to U16 is €25 per child or €40 per family. This year Parents of children of Coiste na nÓg will be able to become members of our Senior Club at a cost of €10. Please contact Jacqueline if you have any queries. All new members are welcome. Any child registering for the first time will need to bring a copy of their birth cert.

Cul Camp 2014:

Limerick. Pride Sports & Leisure have this product patented and are the only company in the country able to install this FIFA approved product.
