Congratulations to jockey Gearoid Patrick Brouder, grandson to Mary Brouder Knocknaclugga, who came 1st in Leopardstown races last week with Conan’s Rock. Well done to Gearoid who is from Listowel.

The Ballyhahill/Loughill ICA has changed the monthly meetings to the 3rd Tuesday of the month; therefore the April meeting, which is the AGM, will be on Tuesday April 15 at 8.10 pm. Fees for the coming year must be paid on that night. The guild is always open to welcoming new members.

In Glin the annual Easter Bunny Family Knight’s Walk will take place on Easter Sunday at 3.00p.m. The ‘Easter Bunny’ will have treats for the children along the Knights Walk and they are hoping for a big turnout  of walkers on the day.

Limerick Lace by Geraldine Cahillane and Tapestry by Maria Fulop is being displayed in Glin library at the moment. These pieces, which are not for sale, are so detailed and beautiful that you have to see them. Please note that the library will be closed on this Thursday and Friday April 10 and 11.
