County:
Limerick Senior footballers were well beating by Roscommon in Dr. Hyde Park on Sunday last. Limerick had no answer for a super first half performance by the home team who went in at the break fourteen points up. Limerick did improve in the second half, but it was too much of a mountain to climb and lost out on a scoreline of Limerick 0-11 Roscommon 1-23. They now play Wexford next Sunday as part of a double header with the Limerick Senior hurlers also playing Wexford in the Gaelic Grounds. Best of luck to both teams on the day.
