Amy Ryan, Athea, (pictured above) recently donated her 12inch ponytail to the Rapunzel Foundation. This is a Charity who provide wigs for people who have lost their hair through illness. Amy decided, after reading an article in the local newspaper, to donate her hair for this worthy cause so contacted Mag in Sharps Hairdressing Salon in Tralee. Mag kindly offered to cut Amy’s hair and send it to the Foundations Salon in Wexford where it will be used to make a wig for an Irish person.
