Athea Credit Union AGM

The AGM will take place on this Friday night, December 7th in the Credit Union Office at 7pm. All members are invited to attend.

Going Strong & St. Vincent de Paul Christmas Dinner

The annual Going Strong/St. Vincent de Paul Christmas Dinner and Party will take place on Wednesday, December 12th at the Top of the Town. As a hot meal will be supplied it is imperative that you please contact Bridie O’Shea or any member of the committee to submit your names.

St. Vincent de Paul Annual Collection

The annual Church gate collection takes place this weekend December 8th & 9th at all Masses and your support would be greatly appreciated.

Self Help Collection

Thanks is extended to all who contributed to last weekend’s Church gate collection in aid of Self Help for Africa. A total of €491 was raised.

Athea Christmas Fair

The Community Hall is the place to be this Sunday, December 9th for the Athea Christmas Fair. There is a huge variety of items for sale with over 20 tables taken to date. The money raised from this sale goes towards the upkeep of the hall. The fair starts at 11am and goes on ‘til 5 pm.

The Athea Crafts Group will be selling again this Friday in The Square from 9.30am to 1pm beside Colleen’s home-baking stall. So pop along to have a browse and maybe pick up a few Christmas gifts.
