Sincere sympathies to Joe the Kerryman Quill and his son Tommy from O’Malley Park, Limerick on the unexpected death of Joe’s wife Bridie, nee Long of Lyreacrompane, last weekend. They had many local connections in West Limerick who will miss them very much. Bridie always submitted articles to local journals. May she rest in peace.
Sympathies too to the Mullane family Lisready, on the death last weekend of Joan, in her 101st year.

The Clounleharde School Reunion group would appreciate any old photographs taken back through the years in the school. Personally I do not ever remember a camera in the school in the 60’s but I know there were photos taken in earlier years. All photos will be scanned and returned promptly.
I got a message from Perth on Sunday night as follows: 7am. 27 degrees. So the families who are coming home for Christmas will have to wrap up well to cope with this Irish weather.
I believe that the local journals will be out very soon. It is a sure sign of Christmas when we see these on the shelves. How the year has flown.
