The Gathering
A public meeting to plan events for The Gathering in Limerick will take place in The Strand Hotel, Limerick on 23rd October, 2012 from 7.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.
More than 200 members of the public attended a public meeting in Adare last month to share their ideas and views on possible events for The Gathering 2013. This further meeting in the Strand Hotel will offer an opportunity for those who couldn’t attend the Adare event to learn more about The Gathering and how they can become involved.

It’s that time of the year again when we ask all clubs, organisations and individuals to please submit their contributions for the journal. Where at all possible we ask that all material be e-mailed ([email protected]) or sent on disk to facilitate early publication of journal. Photos can be dropped in to the office at C.D. Printing, The deadline for receipt of material is October 31st.
Charity Concert in Aid of Pieta House– 31st October at The Pavilion, Red Cow Moran Hotel
Artists from across the Irish Music Industry are coming together for one night only at The Pavillion, Red Cow Moran Hotel, Dublin – in aid of Pieta House Suicide and Self Harm Crisis Centre.
The evening, organised by Tom Moran of the Bewley’s & Moran Hotel Group, is full of talent from across the Irish Music Scene. The event follows a recent 250KM sponsored walk from Limerick to Dublin, which Tom Moran and his fellow “tomathoners”completed to raise awareness and funds for Pieta House. Mr Moran was joined by Brendan Grace, Pat Shortt and Ronnie Delaney on the walk and raised over €100,000, this will be presented to Pieta House on the night.
Tickets only €20 with proceeds going to Pieta House Suicide and Self Harm Crisis Centre
