Mangerton Climb

 The Climb to Mangerton Mountain, which was due to take place on September 2nd as a fundraiser for the Community Hall, has had to be postponed due to the very wet weather, it would be too muddy and hard to climb for parents with young children.  It is hoped to  re-schedule for a later date.

Fundraisers

Lines are on sale in all shops and pubs in the village for the Tidy Towns fundraiser which takes place at the Top of the Town on Saturday, Sept. 1st. Lines are €3 each with prize money of €500 up for grabs, if you would like to help sell these lines, or indeed buy a line or two, contact any member of the group.

There are also sponsorship cards in all the usual outlets for the Tomathon, in aid of Pieta House, which sets off from Athea on Sept. 11th and finishes in Dublin on Sept. 21st. Your support would be appreciated.
