Killeaney AFC is holding a raffle in Knockdown on this Saturday night. Lines have been on sale locally. The 1st prize is €500 and there are many other prizes also. Your support is appreciated.
Joe McGrath’s friends and neighbours are glad to see him home after a brief stay in hospital recently. We wish him a full and speedy recovery.
Gerald Griffin’s Bórd na nÓg is organising a White River Fest – 3 day fundraising event for the weekend of May 4th to the 6th. It promises to be fun from morning to night, This fundraising weekend is the first event of it’s kind in the Loughill/Ballyhahill area for almost 30 years. Sport, music & fun promoting community spirit is the name of the game with a marquee event each of the weekend nights with something for everyone. There will be discos, céilís, art exhibitions, fishing competitions, sports events, Barn dance. So there is something for everyone. Keep your eye out for more details on all the posters and on the facebook page.
