Killeaney AFC wishes to thank all who supported its fundraising draw in Knockdown on Saturday night. The 1st prize of €500, sponsored by John Shanahan, was won by Angela Culhane, Ballyguiltenane. Numerous other prizes were also won. On Sunday night Ta raffled an Easter Egg which was won by James Prendeville, Dromagarraun who delighted his little daughter Clodagh with it.

The Loughill/Ballyhahill Parish Annual was on sale outside the Church gates for the Easter ceremonies. It is now on sale in the Glin shops, as well as Knockdown, Ballyhahill and Carrigkerry. If anyone wishes to have a copy posted to them let me know. So far it has travelled to South America, Australia, Chicago, London, and is receiving positive reviews.

Glin library will be exhibiting Cross Stitch pictures for the month of April by Marianna Chelmicka. All are invited to come and see these lovely works of art.

The Set dancing classes in the Parish Hall, Ballyhahill have now ended but the Ballroom dancing fans are already standing in line and will take off next Monday night. All are welcome to attend.

Congratulations to Marie Sweeney, granddaughter to Joe and Bridget Kelly who came in the top ten in the Irish Dancing World Championships in Belfast last weekend. Marie lives in Australia and travelled to Ireland for the competition.

The new Stations of the Cross were erected in Ballyhahill Church in time for the Easter ceremonies. There had been none in the church since it was renovated in 2010.
