Aislinn Meeting
This Thursday 1st December at 7.30 p.m.
The Colbert Memorial Hall
Three counsellors from the Aislinn Addiction Centre for Adolescents will address the meeting. This meeting is open to anyone that wants to come along but especially parents with teenagers or younger children and adults trying to deal with bereavement or other issues. It is hoped to have a good attendance for this very important and informative talk.
Glin Fair
The annual Horse and Cattle fair will be held on this Saturday December 3rd in The Square in Glin, Co Limerick. A great day of fun, entertainment, nostalgia and craic is to be had as one relives the memories of the past with cattle, sheep, horses, pigs, hens, geese, turkeys, and many other farmyard animals and pets being traded. The streets will be lined with street vendors trading in all types of wares from a needle to an anchor all this can be enjoyed with a Christmas atmosphere. So do come along for a few hours, you never know what bargains you might pick up.
Church Gate Collection
There will be a collection this weekend December 3rd/4th at all Masses in aid of Self Help. Your support would be appreciated.

The annual Church gate collection will take place on Sat. Dec. 10th/Sun.11th at all Masses. Your support, as always would be very much appreciated.
Athea Community Council Christmas Street Lighting
A sincere thank you to all who contributed to our Church gate collection last weekend. The amount raised was €644.
Going Strong / St. Vincent De Paul
The Annual Christmas Dinner and Party will be held at the Top of the Town on Wednesday, December 14th 2011. Mass in Church at 12.30pm and dinner served immediately afterwards. Membership of the Going Strong is €10 per annum. This money is used towards the cost of the Christmas party. Non paid up members/non members are requested to pay €10. Fees can be paid at the time of giving your name. Names can be given to committee members. As this is a hot meal it is important that we have names of those wishing to attend. All Welcome.
