Athea Community Council Ltd. will hold their Annual General Meeting on Monday, September 19th at 7.30pm at the Top of the Town. Everyone is welcome to come along.

If anybody is interested in joining the council nomination forms can be got from the secretary Lillian O’Carroll at Cairde Duchais. Forms must be returned by Friday, September 9th.

Restoration work is continuing at the Blessed Well in Templeathea despite being hampered by the bad weather.

We have secured a lease on the Library building but improvements need to be carried out before it is available for use.
