Athea Motorcycle Racing Club Fashion Show

Street Stepping for Women!!

This programme aims to encourage women to become more physically active in a supportive and social environment. The programme empowers women to choose between walking, jogging or running using the Slí Na Sláinte Routes. The group will meet in Athea at the Con Colbert Memorial Hall every Thursday @ 7pm (under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult).  Participants can get individual programme support from the County Limerick Sports Partnership. For more information contact Elaine on 061 49 6463.

SHANAGOLDEN HISTORY

PROJECT:

The Shanagolden local history group is hoping to compile the history and stories of the Shanagolden Parish Hall and would love to hear from anyone who has stories, poster of past events or old photographs along with those who were was involved in the building of the hall or organizing events There.  Contact June at 069 60499 or Irene at 069 66298, or come along to the Old Stand Pub, Tuesday afternoons at 3pm from April 12.  If possible, it would be hoped to copy any old photographs and return them to their owners.

TOURNAFULLA PARENT AND TODDLER GROUP:

A new Parent & Toddler group will run one morning per week in Tournafulla hall starting Thursday, April 7.   Funding by WLR, the FREE six week programme will look at 1) Running a Parent and Toddler Group, 2) Understanding Children’s Behaviour, 3) Importance of Play, 4) Imaginative Play, 5) Creative Play and Open ended Materials, 6) Block Play. RATHKEALE DROP-IN CLINIC:

The West Limerick Primary Health Care Project is piloting a drop-in clinic in Rathkeale Health Centre each Tuesday mornings until May 31.  This service is available to Adults from the Traveller Community who would like health-related information.  For more information call 069 61316
